Our annual service follows a detailed inspection process completed by qualified technicians. Below is an overview of the key systems we inspect and test on both caravans and folding caravans.

Chassis & Running Gear

We inspect all essential towing and road safety components, including:

Coupling head, stabiliser and gaiter

Breakaway cable, drawbar and chassis

Corner steadies and jockey wheel

Braking system and handbrake mechanism

Suspension, axle, wheels and tyres

Spare wheel carrier (if fitted)

This ensures your caravan or folding caravan tows safely and performs correctly on the road.

Electrical System

Our electrical safety checks cover both 12V and 230V systems, including:

Internal and external lighting

Road lights and reflectors

Leisure battery and battery compartment

230V sockets and consumer unit (RCD testing)

Charging system and voltage checks

Electrical wiring (visual inspection)

Operation of all electrical appliances and accessories

LPG Gas System

Gas safety is a vital part of every service. We carry out:

Gas tightness testing

Inspection of regulators, hoses, pipework and manifolds

Operation checks on all gas appliances (including flame failure devices)

Security of gas cylinders

Checks to ensure all gas dispersal vents are clear

Gas appliances are tested for operation only unless additional servicing is requested.

Water System

We inspect your caravan or folding caravan’s water system for leaks and correct operation, including:

Water pump and pressure switches

Taps, valves, pipes and tanks (if fitted)

Water inlets

Waste system

Toilet operation

Bodywork & Interior

Fixed ventilation (low and high level)

Roof lights and vents

Fire & Safety Equipment

Smoke alarms (operation and expiry dates)

Carbon monoxide alarms (operation and expiry dates)

Fire extinguisher security and expiry date

All servicing work is carried out in accordance with current industry standards and manufacturer guidelines, including torque settings and tyre pressures where applicable. Any faults identified during the service will be clearly explained, with repair options available if required.
